Design with substance. Principles as the foundation.
Akalu develops visual identities for institutions, studios and brands whose content deserves more than a pretty surface: conceptually driven, told through illustration and often with a wink.

Your brand, as clear as your work.
Good design starts with your story, not with a draft. That’s why I begin by asking: What defines you? What matters to you? And what should others learn about your work?
From this, I develop a visual identity that suits you: clear, distinctive and full of character. I bring order to content, sharpen messages and make visible what makes your work special.
Considered, not decorated. Told, not claimed.
The result is a presence that offers orientation, stays in the mind and reaches your clients.

Behind every project is a person.
I’m Anne Lutterberg, a communication designer from Weimar. I most enjoy working with people who have something to say and for whom substance matters more than appearances. For me, it’s not just about the project, but above all about who is behind it.
For more than ten years, I have been designing for culture, architecture and design. I find the interfaces especially exciting: where graphic design meets product design, interior architecture and exhibition design.
For larger projects, I work with a trusted network of experienced partners, so you get everything from a single source.
More about meI’m always excited about inspiring collaborations.
Whether it’s a concrete enquiry or a first conversation – meetings take place in person in Weimar or online.
