Task
This project explores ADHD as a complex and often misunderstood condition. Rather than reinforcing common stereotypes, the aim was to create a personal and empathetic perspective and to make ADHD visible beyond deficit-based narratives.
Approach
At the core of the research were interviews with people affected by ADHD, guided by the question “What does your ADHD look like?” The wide range of responses highlighted how individual and diverse the experience of ADHD can be. Based on these insights, graphic animated films were created that visually translate emotions, thoughts, and inner states, offering an intimate glimpse into the emotional world of those affected.
The design process combined in-depth research with conceptual and visual translation.
Outcome
Scientific findings, personal voices, and design come together to make ADHD emotionally tangible. The project aims to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and highlight the potential of ADHD, such as creativity, sensitivity, and hyperfocus.
